Driver charged over ravenshoe cafe explosion in north qld


Police believe a woman has been charged over the deadly explosion that occurred during a cafe raid in northern Sydney.

Police were called to an unrelated domestic incident just before 1am on Monday in the suburb of Lonsdale around two kilometres west of the city.

A police spokeswoman said a 28-year-old woman who had been in the country had been charged over allegations she had been involved in the bombing at the Bellesloe cafe, which has since closed.

She had been released on a bridging visa.

The police spokeswoman said the woman was charged with a number of offences relating to the investigation.
